Event by MS Gulf Coast VW Club, April Cole

It's become a tradition - the Armed Forces Retirement Home have invited us back to show off our VDubs with a parade around the property and a VW only mini car show to recognize International VW Beetle Day (June 22nd). This year, we're going to hold it on Sunday, June 21st, 2026.

We'll meet at Jones Park at 7:00 am and cruise at 7:15 am to Waffle House on Hwy 90 between Courthouse & Teagarden. There, we'll have breakfast and wait on anyone else to join us. Then, we'll head to the AFRH where we will parade around their main circle and then park from 9:00 to 11:00 am and let the veterans get an up close and personal look at the vehicles, share their own memories, and ask questions.

This event is FREE, but we'll need anyone who is interested to EMAIL aprilcole67@gmail.com with your name and any guest(s) name(s) that you'd like to bring by Thursday, June 18th, 2026. ALL VWs are welcome to cruise, have breakfast with, parade and show with us! The Veterans really appreciate us! And this is an opportunity to celebrate our VDubs - Air-Cooled and Water-Cooled.
