OSSi crew – what a way to close out 2025! The Rides & Shine cruise yesterday morning was an absolute blast: about 10 VWs showed up and showed out, with half a dozen OSSi members rolling strong and a few new faces signing up on the spot. Huge thanks to everyone who made it out!

We still need a couple of helpers (2-3 would be ideal!) to assist in moving VW parts from Daphne to Pensacola. It should be a quick job – about 4-5 hours including drive time if we stay focused.
A moving truck and storage space have been generously provided by our friends at D&D Cycles in Pensacola. the people at D&D Cycles are awesome, and have been friends of ours for a very long time – if you're ever in the market for a new Triumph motorcycle, Piaggio/Vespa scooter, or need repairs on most major brands, check them out! This isn't the last you hear of D&D Cycles, there is more in store, so watch out for our updates!

Upcoming Cruise: Barbie's Tech Session Saturday January 3rd, 2026
This is an ALL-INCLUSIVE, NO AFFILIATION EVENT – bury your pride for one day, bring your VW, and let's work together to install those Christmas parts and keep our rides on the road!
Meet at Publix on Mobile Hwy at 9am and depart about 9:20ish, we will stop briefly at the OTHER Publix at 9mi Rd about 9:45 and out by 10AM on our route to pick up the other folks that wish to join the entourage. So pick either Publix, at appropriate time and we'll see you there!
You may encounter other organizations that have carbon-copied our cruise, THAT IS GOOD FOR EVERYONE! That is exactly what we wanted to see and what we all need! Please treat everyone with respect and dignity, no matter who they are, this reflects The OSSi Way™ and is the very reason why Oil Slickers Society International came into existance. They are a part of our community and a part of our family, too! Let's get along and return to growing what we've spent so many years building.
