OSSi crew – It's our first newsletter of 2026! Happy New Year! We're kicking off with some massive milestones and exciting events ahead.
BIG ANNOUNCEMENT: We've Broken 100 Members!
Congratulations to the entire OSSi family – we've officially surpassed 100 members and are now proudly the largest VW club on the Emerald Coast! This incredible growth is all thanks to your passion, and enthusiasm... and by all word-of-mouth ONLY! We're thrilled to welcome our newest members and can't wait to see what 2026 brings.
Quick update: The Team Gunther Donations Moving Day on December 30th went down with great success – huge thanks to the volunteers who made it happen smoothly!
Saturday January 3rd - Cruise to Barbie's Tech Session
Barbie's Tech Session is an ALL-INCLUSIVE, NO AFFILIATION EVENT – uncover your VW and bury your pride! Just for one day... and let's work together to install those holiday-gifted parts and keep our rides rolling strong! Don't hate, educate!
Whether you're wrenching on your project, helping others, or just soaking up knowledge, everyone is welcome. Come support the local VW scene and start the year right.
Meet at Mobile Hwy Publix at 9am, rolling out around 9:20ish.
We will stop briefly at the OTHER Publix at 9mi Rd around 9:45 and out by 10AM... this will be our route to pick up the other folks that wish to join the entourage.
You may encounter other organizations that have carbon-copied our cruise, THAT IS GOOD FOR EVERYONE! That is exactly what we wanted to see and what we all need! Please treat everyone with respect and dignity, no matter who they are, this reflects The OSSi Way™ and is the very reason why Oil Slickers Society International came into existance. They are a part of our community and a part of our family, too! Let's get along and return to growing what we've spent so many years building. SEE YOU THERE!
